Colorado's FAMLI premium falls to 0.88%
The paid-leave premium drops for 2026, cutting the employee share to 0.44% of wages up to the Social Security cap.
Colorado’s Family and Medical Leave Insurance premium decreased to 0.88% of wages for 2026, down from 0.9%. It remains split evenly between employer and employee, so the employee share is 0.44%, applied to wages up to $184,500.
On a $75,000 salary that is $330 a year. Small, but it appears on every Colorado payslip and most calculators leave it out, which makes their take-home figures slightly optimistic.
